The rules are simple: You can submit as many as six photos per discipline (Motocross, Recreation, Off-Road, Trials, Flat Track or Hillclimb) for voting. They will be put up on the internet for anonymous voting in October with the top vote getter for each being named "Favorite" for that discipline. Those six will be presented at the District Banquet in November for in-person voting. The winner will be announced on stage that night and will be the "Fan Favorite Photographer" for 2026. THESE MUST BE PHOTOS YOU YOURSELF ACTUALLY TOOK - not a shot somebody took of you. No names will be attached to the photos until after the final voting - our intention is that each phot stands on it's own merits. This is open to ALL photos and photographers - you do not need to be a pro shooter. If you have that "one great shot" you took in July send it! We get many fantastic shots each year from people just being at the right place at the right time.
By submitting your photos you give AMA District 16 Council the right and authority to use those shots in any way, both digital and print, in the promotion of District activities without further compensation. These are the photo we use over the season to promote D-16 and also will be used in the 2027 Edition District Calendar - along with our other publications.
How To Send Them In:
All entries need to be sent to the email district16photographer@gmail.com. Depending on how you handle your photos it can be a link or the photos themselves. We prefer high resolution photos but will accept any that are sent in. If you have any questions or difficulties on this part send your question to that email or contact Bill at (715) 212-6340. We will accept photos right up until the day the voting closes in October but the most votes will be cast when the voting opens in that first week.
